Open up your mind brother Can't you see I'm trying to love you, well We’re separated by deceit. The same blood in you is in me. Let's go back. To what we had. Open up your mind brother Can't you see I'm trying to love you, well We’re separated by deceit. The same blood in you is in me. Let's go back. To what we had. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go back. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go back. Let's go back. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go back. Let's go back. To what we had. Let's go back. The future is the past. Yeah.

about

British DJ, producer and multifaceted phenomenon Joe Goddard takes the reins for a very special remix of Kraak & Smaak’s Let’s Go Back—originally released in the 2011 Electric Hustle era.
Kraak & Smaak is gearing up for their 20-year anniversary and will release a special remix album, with selected reworks of some of the classics from the past two decades.
Joe Goddard kicks things off; he is a leading member of the Indie Dance group Hot Chip, and part of the progressive record label, Greco Roman. On Let’s Go Back he reworks vocals by the late Romanthony, shooting the original into prime-time warehouse rave territory.
By way of an uptempo drum machine swing, Goddard guides a divinely resonant analog bass line to all the right places. Chopping up Romanthonys silky voice in an electrifying fashion, the dusty
synth stabs chaperone the listener all the way to a euphoric break-down, before ultimately blessing our souls with mesmerising 90s piano stabs.
This Joe Goddard remix joins the club of his impressive remix catalogue, which features remixes and reworks for acts such as Dua Lipa, Disclosure, Jessie Ware, Annie Mac and many more.
