Toxic Love Affair continues this list of quality collaborations with home grown star Ivar providing a vocal that channels Curtis Mayfield, before Sanguita joins him in a duet that could compete with the Motown classics in a wonderfully soulful blend of electronica and funk.

It’s a track that oozes attitude with a groove that doesn’t quit straight from the opening bass stabs, guitar melodies and synth runs all the way to the very end. Oscar de Jong’s analogue synth collection is used liberally all over the track providing the extra sparkle that is counterbalanced perfectly by the swagger of the reliably grooving rhythm section. Gallowstreet help out K&S on the instrumentation by providing the brass hits that inject yet another layer of soul into the track.
