Lifted from Kraak & Smaak’s latest LP, ‘Pleasure Centre’, ductile slo-mo house chugger ’Naked’ (ft. IVAR & Berenice van Leer) - which also happens to be the album’s closer - gets another remix treatment courtesy of French up-and-comer Georges, bosun of Paris-based AOC Records and dextrous jazz-house vibist by trade.
If the original’s caught you with its lax, low-slung Cuban jazz-like appeal, we bet George’s re-accelerated mix of sun-streaked piano stabs and funky bass moves will have you sailing off to a satiny, summer-flavoured bubble of sound. Tweaking the original mix’s more sluggish swing into a further energetic, funkily romantic weapon, Georges lays down a subtle and brightly-hued house jam that sits right there between Breakbot, Dimitri From Paris and the Roulé squad.
